The architects and Heritage consultants Stephen Levrant  Heritage architecture, refurbished and extended this modern hair salon within the fourth floor of the iconic department store Libery of London.
The department store was built 1922-1924 by Edwin T. Hall and E. Stanley Hall, with bridge connecting to Regent Street store added in 1925, further bridge added 1974 by William Holford and Partners and other minor late C20 alterations. Tudor Arts and Crafts style, reusing timber from the breaking up of two early C19 “men of war” sailing ships, HMS Hindustan and HMS Impregnable.

Features Include:
The heating to the hairsalon’s area is provided by the ceiling cassette units at high level. These units provide the cooling as well. The condensing units are located on the fifth-floor roof area.

The hair salon requirement for hot and cold water services is continuous. There is a boosted water service within the adjacent riser that provides the cold water and cold water feed to 2 no. hot water cylinders within the Laundry area.

Optima BES also designed a new lighting layout including spott lights fitted to a arail system and LED emergency lights.
